Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • If you prefer, you can omit the broccoli or the bacon.
  • Be sure to not overcook this. Letting the noodles sit for too long will make them turn mushy.
  • You can double the recipe if your crockpot has a big enough capacity.
  • If you love cheese, you can sprinkle as much as you want on the top of your cooked mac and cheese.
  • Mix up the cheese. Use a variety of cheese flavors instead of only 4 cups of sharp cheddar. Just be sure you use at least 4 cups of cheese.
  • You can use other noodles, you may just have to adjust the cooking time on the recipe based on their size and thickness.
