Ninja Foodi Grill Grilled Marinated Broccoli
Now if you don’t own a Ninja Foodi Grill you can easily make this on any other indoor grill or turn on your pellet grill outside!
I love my Ninja Foodi Grill cause it is so easy to use, is smoke free and user friendly. Whether it’s raining or snowing outside we can grill all through the year.
How to Make
Step 1: The first step you will do is prep your broccoli. You need to make sure to rinse your broccoli head and remove leaves and such.
Step 2: Work on your marinade, by mixing all your ingredients together. Place in a container or sealable bag with your broccoli. Marinade as directed in the recipe card below.
Step 3: You will then preheat your grill right before you are ready to cook. Toss your broccoli on and cook!
Can I Use Frozen Broccoli
If you want to use frozen broccoli in replace of fresh for this grilled broccoli recipe, I am hesitant.
If you allowed your broccoli to thaw first then marinade it might work. The texture of thawed out frozen broccoli will be softer in texture.
I have not tried this method but you might find success. Personally, I recommend using fresh broccoli.
Tips for Making Grilled Broccoli
Cook time | One thing I want to stress is cook time will vary! The reason being is every broccoli is a different shape or size. You will need to watch your broccoli to ensure it doesn’t overcook. We also like our broccoli a bit charred and carmelized, while you may like yours a little less cooked.
Fresh Broccoli | When you buy broccoli make sure you look over your broccoli head. You want bright green in color, no soft spots, discoloration on the head, or looking dried out.
Toppings | Feel free to sprinkle on Parmesan cheese or even mozzarella. You will find fresh cheese on top elevated the flavor.
Can I Make In Advance
Grilled broccoli tastes best when served fresh. Otherwise you will find broccoli feta soggy fast when chilled off after being cooked.
I have used leftovers to toss in a stir fry the next day. But it will have the best flavor if cooked right then.
How Do You Eat
Serve up the grilled broccoli with a side of ranch or even other types of dressing.
I pile it on our plates and let the kids dig in. Trust me, even people who don’t love broccoli seemed super impressed for the recipe.

Notes
To cook on an outdoor grill, use a grill basket. Put your marinated broccoli in the basket. Over high heat, place your grill basket on the grill. Grill for approximately 10-12 minutes, tossing frequently in the basket.
If you do not have a grill basket, just be sure to cut larger florets so they don't fall between the grates. Grill on top of the grates, tossing frequently.
