Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • When it comes to the peanut butter you want to use a smooth peanut butter. Natural peanut butter is not recommended because it contains no salt therefore it causes the cookies to spread more and become more crispy.
  • I like to spray my fork with cooking spray prior to making the crisscross pattern on the cookies to prevent it from sticking.
  • If you want to add in other ingredients you can! Add in mini chocolate chips or add a kiss to the top of the cookie once it comes out of the oven!
  • Be sure you don’t over bake these cookies. Once the edges turn a golden brown they are done. They will continue to cook as they cool.

Storage

You will want to let these cookies cool on a cooling rack before storing them. Once cooled, place them in an airtight container at room temperature for about 1 week.
