How to Microwave Chocolate
Bark is very easy to make so I encourage that you let your future bakers help when making it.
In a microwave-safe container microwave candy melts at 50% power or the defrost setting on your microwave.
Melt for one minute to start. Remove and stir. Place back in the microwave for additional 30 seconds at 50% power. Remove and stir. Continue to do this in 30 second intervals until smooth and creamy. Remember less is better. You can help melt some pieces that are still not fully melted by stirring with a spoon. You do not want to over microwave your chocolate.
Or Use Instant Pot As Double Boiler
If you own an Instant Pot you can use it as a double boiler. It is simple to do and you are able to move your pressure cooker anywhere tgere is a plug-in.
What Is The Best Chocolate To Use
When making a chocolate bark you have two options. You can reach for chocolate chips or an almond bark.
Both work well, and it is more a preference of flavor. The almond bark will set up rather fast where chocolate chips will stay softer for longer.
You can try both out if you want and see what you prefer.

Or add in one teaspoon of shortening to your chocolate chips as you melt them down. The shortening will help the chocolate to harden similar to wager chocolate or almond bark.
Best Way to Store Candy Bark
If you have leftover candy bark simply allow it to fully cool. Then transfer candy bark into an airtight container or freezer bag.
Store on the kitchen counter or in the fridge or freezer. You just have to remember if the weather gets hot to put in fridge or freezer so it doesn’t melt.
How to Freeze Candy Bark
For freezing just place in the proper freezer container and store for about three months.
I like to freeze pre-broken pieces so you can grab one or two and then leave the rest in the freezer.

do you deliver? this looks amazing! I want some.
Refrigerate? How do you break it up?
You do not have to refrigerate and you can easily cut it with a knife.
Sorry not easy recipe. Chocolate melted into the peanut butter. Did not swirl properly while hot. Then the mini cups melted into top of warm mixture. Not pretty and took long time to harden. We had to eat with forks and spoons.
I am so sorry it didn’t work out right. Sometimes chocolate can be a bit temperamental.
