Dirty Banana Drink
If you have ever been to a tropical island you probably have had a dirty banana drink a time or two! It is one of my favorites to order as it combines banana rum, Kahlua, banana, and milk for an irresistible adult drink.
The best way to describe it is a really delicious adult milkshake that you will want to keep drinking all day long! This goes perfectly with our Instant Pot Kahlua Recipe.

- 1 oz Kahlua
- 2 oz Milk

Tips Tricks and FAQs
- If you want to make this creamier and a little thicker you can swap out the milk for heavy whipping cream or even use vanilla ice cream instead.
- If you opt to use a ripe banana that is not frozen, you will want to add some ice to help thicken it up.
- The recipe does not call for chocolate, but you can easily add some chocolate syrup to this recipe for an even tastier treat. I like to drip it down the inside of my glass.
- If you want this drink to remind you of drinking them on an island add whip cream, a slice of banana, and a cherry, yum!
Storage
This drink is best to enjoy right away. Thankfully it is easy to whip up in less than fine minutes.
Kid-friendly version
Kids love fancy drinks too. This dirty banana cocktail can easily become a mocktail! To create this recipe, omit all alcohol and increase the milk to ½ cup. Add a bit of chocolate sauce (about 2 TBS) and 1 TBS of honey to make it a bit sweeter.
Can I use banana-flavored liqueur in this recipe?
Yes! If you want more of a banana flavor, add up to ¾ ounce of a banana-flavored liquor of your choice.
