In our house we love dips! They are quick and easy to make and serve big crowds. Our go-to dips are always our Salted Caramel Pecan Cheesecake, Million Dollar Dip, Easy Taco Dip, and of course this banana pudding dip.

What I love most about this dip is that it is creamy, delicious, and is perfect for kids and adults, and it takes like 5 minutes to make. It is the perfect dip to take to holiday parties, serve on game day, summer BBQs, or even as a treat for family game night. Prep it in the morning and it is ready to enjoy that night!

How to make banana pudding dip

Step 1: In a bowl, beat the pudding & milk together until well blended.  Set aside. 

Step 2: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and vanilla.  Beat until smooth.  

Step 3: Add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture.  Beat until combined. 

Step 4: Fold in the whipped topping.  

Step 5: Refrigerate until ready to serve. 

Step 6: Top with banana slices, whipped topping, and crumbled vanilla wafers.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Bananas brown quickly so you will want to add your banana slices to the top right before serving. 
  • If you want more of a banana flavor you can add a drop or two of banana extract to enhance the flavor. 
  • Let your cream cheese sit out at room temperature for 30 minutes prior to mixing.
  • The secret to a really fluffy light banana pudding dip is really creaming the cream cheese. I will mix this with my electric mixer for 3-5 minutes to make it really airy and smooth. 
  • Be sure to refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours to set before serving.
  • Banana pudding dip easily converts into a parfait! Just layer your pudding dip and crumbled vanilla wafers or poundcake for an irresistible single-serve treat!

After about a day, you will see parts of the bananas start to brown in the pudding. It is still safe to eat or you can discard them.

To keep the bananas from browning in the pudding you can lightly brush them with lemon juice. You will want to use as little as possible so that it does not alter the flavor of this dessert.

Banana Pudding Dip

Banana pudding dip combines instant banana pudding, cream cheese, and whipped topping to create an irresistible dip the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 (3.4oz) Instant Banana Pudding
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 8 oz Block of Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 TSP Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Frozen Whipped Topping, thawed
  • 1 Banana, sliced

Instructions
