Million Dollar Dip
If a dip has cheese in it, I will never turn it down. This easy dip is so fast to make, and perfect for dipping all your favorite veggies or crackers. .
How to Make
Step 1: Add your ingredients into the bowl and mix until well combined.
Step 2: Once mixed cover and chill in the fridge for 2 hours. This gives the dip time to blend the flavors.
When it is done chilling serve it up!
How To Serve This Cold Cheesy Dip
- Crackers – Townhouse, Clubs, Wheat Thins or any other style of crackers
- Pretzel
- Crisp veggies – carrot sticks, broccoli, cauliflower, etc
- Smear onto French bread or even Croissants
- Etc
Truly you can serve this dip any way you like. I have even use it as a sandwich spread. It tasted awesome.
Can I Skip The Nuts
If you are not a fan of slivered almonds you can leave them out. Replace with wants if you want. Or skip nuts altogether.
The slivered almonds add great crunch but they don’t need to be in the dip.
Can I Make This in Advance
Feel free to make this dip up to 24 hours in advance. Just cover well and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
The green onions are the first thing to spoil on this dip. Or else you could make even earlier. Bit the onions will kind of overtake the other flavors if you store longer before serving.
How to Spice Up The Dip Flavor
If you enjoy spice feel free to make adjustments to the dip. Use pepper jack cheese to replace the cheddar. Or add in some crushed red pepper flakes or even a few splashed of hot sauce.
Or add in ½ teaspoon of fresh horseradish. My husband loved the pairing of that. You can also buy horseradish to fit the heat you want.
Best Way to Store
The best way to store this dip is to cover and place in an airtight container.
Store for a couple of days. Due to all the dairy you want to make sure your cheese dip is never out for more than 2 hours at a time.
At the two hour make bacteria will grow at a faster pace. Make sure to cover and refrigerate the dip for a minimum of 30 minutes before serving again.
This is a fantastic pool party dip, Sunday football snacking, holiday appetizer, or a mid-day great.
There is never a wrong time for homemade dip.
