What is the difference between Carmel sauce and dulce de Leche

You will find the flavors between the two are similar. Dulce is a lot thicker and more bold flavor compared to a classic caramel sauce.

You are more then welcome to use either in the recipe. I personally just prefer the Leche. It has a lot richer caramel flavor.

If you use caramel sauce you will use the same amount. It will just make your dip slightly thinner in texture.
