Wendy’s Frosty Recipe
It’s no secret we love Wendy’s in our house. There is something about the Chili and the frosty that we just love! A few weeks back I shared with you the most delicious Instant Pot Wendy’s Copycat Chili and today I thought it would be fun to share my other go-to favorite with you, this Wendy’s Frosty Copycat recipe.
This recipe tastes just like the Frosty we get at Wendy’s. In fact, we usually cook up some fries even to dip in it!
What ingredients are in a Wendy’s Frosty?
A Wendy’s Frosty from the restaurant is filled with several ingredients that we cannot pronounce, unfortunately. But the good news is this copycat recipe contains 3 ingredients, chocolate milk, sweetened condensed milk, and Cool Whip.
How to Make Wendy’s Frosty Copycat Recipe
- In a large bowl, add cool whip, condensed milk & chocolate milk
- Mix with a
handheld mixer or whisk to combine well. - Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container.
- Freeze for a few hours until the mixture is turning to a thick slushy consistency.
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- This mixture will not completely freeze.
- If you find that it has frozen to the point of being
icey , place it in the blender and give it a quick blend to get it back to the perfect frosty thickness and consistency that you love. - Top with heavy whipping cream if you would like or even some Cool Whip.
- If you want a little bit more of a chocolate flavor, add some cocoa powder or chocolate milk mix.
Make Ahead
If you want to make this recipe ahead of time you can. Just pre-freeze the chocolate milk in ice cube trays as well as keep your Cool Whip frozen. Then when you are ready to eat a frosty, pop out the chocolate milk from the trays, add the condensed milk, and Cool Whip and blend to Frosty consistency.
Storage
If you find yourself with leftovers you will want to store them in the freezer for up to 5 days in an airtight container. They will never truly freeze, so just pull out the desired amount and blend to return it to the consistency you love.
Vanilla Frosty
If you have fans of the Wendy’s Vanilla frosty you can swap out the chocolate milk for whole white milk.
