Can you put peaches in the Air Fryer?

Yes! You can put peaches in the Air Fryer. Cut them in half and place the cut side face up. Cook at 350 degrees for 7-12 minutes. You will know they are done when the tops are brown. 

What do Grilled Peaches Cooked in the Air Fryer Taste Like?

Imagine a peach cobbler without the crust. This is exactly what grilled peaches taste like. They are juicy and sweet with a little bit of sugar on top.

How to Cook Peaches in the Air Fryer

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Prepare the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, cut together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter until well blended.
  • Place the peaches into the air fryer basket with the cut side up. Sprinkle the peaches with the brown sugar mixture.
  • Cook the peaches in the air fryer for 7 to 12 minutes, depending on the wattage of your machine and the firmness of the peaches, until caramelized on top.

  • Serve immediately topped with ice cream or whipped cream drizzled with honey, if desired.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • If you find yourself with peaches that aren’t ripe that’s okay! When you cook peaches in the Air Fryer it softens them and helps them ripen up! Thankfully peaches have enough natural juice that actually under ripe peaches taste fantastic cooked this way. 

Storage

Store your leftover grilled peaches in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

I don’t recommend freezing peaches after you have cooked them. They tend to get a little bit mushy. 

Reheating

You will want to reheat your peaches in the microwave for about 30 seconds to a minute. Check it after 30 seconds and then cook them 15 seconds at a time until they are your desired temperature.

Can I use Canned Peaches?

You will want to stick to fresh peaches with this recipe. Canned peaches will become very mushy.

  • 4 peaches, halved and pitted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar or brown sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, room temperature
  • Ice cream or whipped cream, for serving
  • Honey, for serving

Instructions

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Prepare the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
