This peaches & cream dump cake is as delicious and decadent as a big old country peach pie. I love the fact that I did not have to turn my kitchen into one big floury mess and did not have to turn my oven on. Making this instant pot dump cake is as easy as opening up a few cans and a box. It could not be any easier.

How Do You Make A Dump Cake in the Instant Pot
Reach for a glass or metal bowl that fits into your Instant Pot and is safe to use. Then dump your ingredients right into the bowl and use that to hold your cake base.
Can I Cook The Dump Cake Directly In The Instant Pot
You can cake it using the Instant Pot container if you prefer. I always like to have my dump cakes in a container. I find it is easy for removal, and cleanup. But, if you want to use the Instant Pot pan itself to bake your dump cake in.
What Type of Cake Mix For Peaches and Cream Dump Cake
Reach for a white or yellow cake mix. I find both styles of cake mix work best! Both offer a mild flavor that pairs beautifully with the tender and spiced peaches.
Why Do You Top With Butter on A Dump Cake Recipe
Laying out the slices of butter on a dump cake is going to allow the butter to melt and add moisture to your cake mix. This is going to in turn take the dry mix and transform it into a tender and light cake. It saves ingredients and steps, compared to a traditional cake.
How Do You Reheat Dump Cake
Toss in the microwave for a fast reheat, or opt to warm it up in the oven. If you take the oven route just turn oven to 250 degrees. Pour cake into an oven-safe container and place aluminum foil on top. Then heat until it is warm all the way through.
How Do You Store Peaches and Cream Dump Cake
Store this in the fridge. After your dump cake has cooled down a bit, transfer to a covered container and place in the fridge. Store for 3-4 days. Then warm up or eat chilled. Both are great, and this cake reheats nicely. I love eating it leftover, such a treat.
Give this Instant Pot dump cake recipe a try today. I think you will love it! I am a huge fan of peaches, and this is my favorite fast and easy peach recipe I make over and over again.

So if you use the remaining ingredients in ramekins or a small cake pan (6”) would you reduce the time?
yes, you can pretty much follow the times on the box. Find the cooking times that closest match what you are using.
Why does you recipe use a glass bowl? Everything I am reading indicates glass, pyrex ( I contacted them myself) Pampered chef etc says their products are not safe to use on the Instant Pot.
Pyrex can be a controversial conversation with IP users. I have had nothing but good luck with pyrex bowls but I definitely only want everyone to do what they are most comfortable with. You can absolutely use either corning wear or a metal bowl for this recipe.
I’d love to make this, but a bit confused. Can’t one use the “pot” itself?
yes, you can make it directly in your pot as well.
So you mix up the cake mix or just sprinkle it without preparing it?
just sprinkle it on top without preparing it. than you want to make sure you cover every bit of that dry mix with butter. The moisture from the butter will drip down and cook the batter.
