What is Bisquick Impossible Pie
Bisquick impossible pie is like a cheeseburger pie in a sense. Bisquick shared this on a back of their box, and many church cookbooks showcased this recipe.
A meaty filling, layer of cheese, and a bisquick topping to act like the bread in this recipe.
Don’t Have Bisquick On Hand
If you don’t have Bisquick, you can learn how to make homemade Bisquick with just 4 ingredients. It is so easy to make and you can place in a sealable bag or mason jar.
How to Make
Step 1: Start by cooking your ground beef and onions in a skillet on the stove. Crumble it up, and cook until no longer pink. Stir in salt.
Step 2: Pour the meat mixture into a pie pan, and top with the shredded cheese. Do an even layer so all the meat mixture has cheese on top.
Step 3: In a bowl mix up your Bisquick mixture and pour over the pie. Then toss in the oven and bake as directed below.

Does This Recipe Double Well
If you want to double this recipe go right ahead. You can make the impossible cheeseburger pie in a 9×13 pan or opt to do 2 pie plates of pies. Either method works good, and if you do the 9×13 you just might need to adjust the cook time slightly.
How to Know When The Cheeseburger Pie is Done
To know your pie is done you can take a toothpick and stick in the center of the Bisquick topping. If it comes out clean it will be fully cooked.
Now, you will also find the pie turns a golden brown on top as well and firms up a bit.
Can You Freeze Leftover Cheeseburger Pie
Want to meal prep for later? This cheeseburger pie does freeze well. Just allow you cooked casserole to cool completely and then transfer into an airtight container that is freezer friendly.
It will freeze for up to 2-3 months. When you are ready to eat toss in the oven from frozen, just make sure it is covered with aluminum foil.
Or place it in the fridge the night before, then slice and warm up in the microwave if you don’t want to bake it in the oven.
