A common question is what is the difference between pumpkin pie spice and apple pie spice. To be honest these spices are very similar. The main difference is that apple pie spice usually has more of a cinnamon flavor without the ginger.

- Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.

- Store in a sealed container in a cool dry place like the pantry. Keep for up to 2 months.
- If you like cinnamon to not be as bold in the mixture, simply reduce it until you find the right ratio to fit your preferences.
- Use quality spices for this recipe in order to get the best outcome. Cheaper spices tend to be lacking in flavor. This results in a weak spice mixture.
- You can easily double this recipe, or increase it as much as needed.
- If you would like, you can add cloves to the mixture. Not everyone likes them, so I suggest only adding cloves if you know for sure you already like them. ½ teaspoon should be plenty for this specific mixture.
