Tips Tricks and FAQs
- You want to make sure that the butter is very cold. If it gets warm then the biscuits will not be nice and flaky.
- Be sure to spray the chicken well on both sides with the non-stick cooking spray.
- Your dough needs to be at least 1 inch thick for the biscuits. Any thinner will not make them big and flaky.
- If you want to speed up time, you can use Grands Flaky Biscuits from the refrigerated section at the grocery store.
- If you are worried about the spice you can omit the tabasco from the honey.
Storage
Honey butter chicken and biscuits are best enjoyed fresh. If you plan to have leftovers, store the chicken and biscuits separately. Place the chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days and store your biscuit in a storage bag at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Reheating
To reheat your chicken you will want to cook it in the microwave for about 1 minute. You will want to warm up the biscuit separately.
