A medicine ball is a concoction that is mixed together to help fight your cold. It contains lemonade, peach tranquility tea, Jade citrus mint, and a little bit of honey as well as peppermint extract. While we all refer to this as the Starbucks Medicine Ball it is actually called Honey Citrus Mint Tea at Starbucks.

How to Make a Starbucks Medicine Ball at Home

  • In the microwave, heat the water and lemonade until hot.
  • Meanwhile, place the tea bags into a mug.
  • Pour the water and lemonade over the tea bags and allow to steep for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Add a slice of lemon and serve.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • You can add a peppermint tea bag if you prefer rather than adding peppermint extract. 
  • Be sure you get your lemonade hot, just under the point of boiling. This will make your lemonade bubbly with a little bit of frothiness. 
  • If you prefer to enjoy an iced version of this drink you can, just prepare it as normal and then enjoy it over ice. 
  • If you want to order one of these from Starbucks, they have officially added it to their menu, just simply ask for a Honey Citrus Mint Tea.

  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup prepared lemonade
  • 1 bag Teavana Peach Tranquility Tea
  • 1 bag Teavana Jade Citrus Mint
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 drop (about ⅛ teaspoon) peppermint extract, if a stronger mint taste is desired
  • Sliced lemon

Instructions
