Having to run to Starbucks to get my daily fix can be a drag as well as a bit pricey. This homemade version of the pink drink really captures the store-bought version with all the convenience of home.
Easy and Delicious Starbucks Pink Drink
The ingredients are simple and you can whip this up really quickly. Make a big batch to keep in the fridge and just add the strawberries every time you pour a glass.
What do you call the pink drink at Starbucks?
You can call the pink drink at Starbucks a Strawberry Acai Refresher! Made with coconut milk and strawberries or you can ask to use blackberries as well for even more of a twist.
Is Starbucks Pink Drink Healthy?
The Pink Drink is a healthier option than some drinks at Starbucks you can choose, if you want your drink sweetened or unsweetened. So in a sense your dividing factor of how healthy your drink is.
Just remember that it is okay to have a flavored drink like this in moderation. Going overboard of course isn’t a healthy option.
Does Starbucks Pink Drink Have Caffeine?
You will find this Pink Drink is lightly caffeinated. Now if you buy a different tea to use it would then depend if that tea has caffeine or not.
What If I Can’t Find Freeze Dried Strawberries
Starbucks uses freeze-dried strawberries in the Pink Drink. If you can’t find them opt for fresh or even reach for frozen!
I have used frozen on hot days and it chills down my drink without watering it down as it melts!
How to Make The Pink Drink from Starbucks at Home
Start by steeping your tea bags and allowing them to fully cool. Slice up some fresh strawberries if using. Once your tea is cooled add a bunch of ice to your glass and pour in your tea.
Add in some strawberries, fresh or freeze dried.
Add in your coconut milk.
Then add in the white grape juice.
Stir and ENJOY!
If you want your drink sweetened you can use sweetened coconut milk or add in a sweetener to sweeten it up. If you prefer regular sugar just mix with hot tea so it allows the sugar granules to melt as the tea steeps.
Can I Make Pink Drink Ahead of Time
I would say if you want to make this drink ahead just make the acai tea and keep it in the fridge. Then when ready to drink assemble it.
This drink takes just seconds to prepare and you will get that fresh flavor as you sip away.
Can I Substitute Coconut Milk in Pink Drink Recipe
If you can’t have coconut milk or are not a fan, you could easily swap with almond milk or even soy. I will say with the swap you won’t get the same exact taste as Starbucks.
But I am sure both almond or soy would pair well with this drink.

Instead of Acai berry tea (purple) I tried hibiscus (red) and it was a pink kinda drink.
Sounds and looks yummy! I may need to try one of these. Thank you for sharing on Merry Monday! We hope you will join us again next week!
