Tips Tricks and FAQs
- For this recipe we used Sonic Ocean Water jello, but any blue jello that you love will work.
- It is easiest if you place all your condiment cups on a baking sheet or in muffin tins and then fill them. This allows for easy transport to the fridge. It also allows you to stack the trays on top of one another if you are making a lot to serve at your shark week party.
- Add the graham crackers and gummy fish right before serving.
Storage
You will want to store your leftover jello shots in the fridge. These will keep for about 5-7 days without losing the jello flavor.
Can you make these jello shots ahead of time?
Yes, you can make these shark week jello shots up to 2 days before serving. Be sure you make them at least several hours (4+) before serving so they have time to set up.
Can you put lids on your jello shots as they set?
You will want to wait a few minutes allowing the jello to cool a bit before you put a lid on the jello shots. Adding the lid too soon will cause condensation within the container.
Can I make a kid friendly version of these?
Yes, to make kid friendly shark week jello shots just omit the vodka and follow the jello recipe on the package. Once the jello sets, then add the graham cracker and gummy shark before serving.
