What Are The Best Apples for Apple Detox Water
To be honest any type of apple works for this apple detox water. I reach generally for a gala or even honey crisp apple. Both offer a sweetness I enjoy. You are welcome to buy whatever apples that are on sale and you enjoy. I think green apples might offer a bit of a tart flavor.
Can You Use Cinnamon Powder Instead of Cinnamon Sticks in Detox Water
Yes. You will gain the same benefits from the powder as the sticks. The only difference is you will need to really stir your water each time you go to pour it from the cinnamon powder and how it settles. I would recommend starting at 1 tablespoon of powder for the replacement of cinnamon sticks.

My only concern is the apple slices possibly rotting. I should rephrase as once the apple slices are starting to be less than perfect

Do you have to put all the water in a pot I don't have a pot big enough for a gallon of water plus adding ingredients to it? I would also like to know how I could do a smaller batch, say in a Mason jar that holds about 24 oz could hold a little more.
