How to Store Detox Water
Keep apple cinnamon water in the fridge for no more than 3 days, then start a new batch. If you have any remaining just toss it out.
What Are The Best Apples for Apple Detox Water
To be honest any type of apple works for this apple detox water. I reach generally for a gala or even honey crisp apple. Both offer a sweetness I enjoy. You are welcome to buy whatever apples that are on sale and you enjoy. I think green apples might offer a bit of a tart flavor.
Can You Use Cinnamon Powder Instead of Cinnamon Sticks in Detox Water
Yes. You will gain the same benefits from the powder as the sticks. The only difference is you will need to really stir your water each time you go to pour it from the cinnamon powder and how it settles. I would recommend starting at 1 tablespoon of powder for the replacement of cinnamon sticks.
Can I Drink Apple Cinnamon Detox Water Hot
Yes, you are welcome to drink this hot if you prefer the taste of hot. It is meant to drink cold but you are welcome to warm it up each time if you prefer that.
Can I Halve The Recipe for Detox Water
Sure. If you feel you won’t drink this all in three days feel free to adjust the recipe to fit your needs. It will taste great and work, and doubling or sizing down the recipe will have no bad effects.

This water is literally so easy to make, and it is tasty. I have been drinking this on and off for a while and it is a great way to feel better on a daily basis. Do you add the boiled apples and cinnamon sticks ball to the pitcher after gained? And does it have to be a glass pitcher?
I tossed my apples and put in fresh slices to keep it in the fridge. I did use the same cinnamon sticks. Does not have to be a glass pitcher. 🙂
It says flushes toxins…If a person is taking medicine and being tested regularly for it ….will it flush the system out so my h it doesn’t or won’t show up in the tests…? If you can’t drink a gallon in 3 days why not make just a half gallon..?
I only have ground cinnamon. How much do you suggest to use?
I would start with 1 TBSP and adjust by taste.
Do we sweaten to taste or just as is?
Do we sweeten to taste or just as is?
Just as is 🙂
Can I drink it hot?
you sure can
Drink hot or cold?
This was made to drink cold. You can drink hot if you prefer. I do have a really great hot detox tea if you would like to try. https://www.sparklestosprinkles.com/apple-cider-vinegar-morning-detox-tea/
Does a pre-mix of hot apple cider (add your own cinnamon) have the same result?
As long as it is fresh apple cider, I am going to say yes.. it should have the same result.
Can I do this while pregnant?
I honestly would not even feel comfortable answering.. I would definitely prefer if you double check with your doctor. 🙂
Do you have to put all the water in a pot I don’t have a pot big enough for a gallon of water plus adding ingredients to it?
I would also like to know how I could do a smaller batch, say in a Mason jar that holds about 24 oz could hold a little more.
Half the recipe so thAt it fits better in your pot
I am really curious why after three days any left should be discarded…..WHY please explain,,,,thank you,,,,also I have used cooled apple quarters to mash ,,taste is very light but naturally sweet without adding anything,,several have tasted and were delighted…
My only concern is the apple slices possibly rotting. I should rephrase as once the apple slices are starting to be less than perfect
