Can you make this ahead of time?
Yes, you can make apple cranberry sangria ahead of time. In fact, it is so much better when it has time to sit in the fridge so that the flavors can meld together. I highly recommend allowing this drink to chill before enjoying it.
What kind of red wine should I use?
When making this drink I opt for a Merlot. The beauty of this drink is that you can use a less expensive wine and still have the great flavors that you love.
