Give this homemade white sangria recipe a try and serve up on a hot summer night, or to serve up for girls night in!
What Fruit To Use In Sangria
When making sangria you will find that you can use almost any type of fruit you have on hand or enjoy. Personally, I reached for blueberries, strawberries, peach slices, kiwi, and even some raspberries.

The fruit will add lots of color and flavor to your sangria.
Can I Replace Peach Schnapps In Recipe
If you don’t have peach schnapps feel free to replace with a peach liqueur that you would like. Or if you can’t find that. A fruit flavored liqueur could be swapped in to replace.
How To Make
Step 1: Start by prepping all your fruit. Washing, peeling and slicing. Pour your fruit that you prepped and cleaned into a pitcher.

Step 2: Now you will pour in your wine and peach schnapps. Give the mixture a stir, and place in the fridge.

Step 3: When ready to serve pour some ice into a glass, pour your sangria, and then top with some fresh fruit if you want!

Can You Get Drunk Off Sangria
Sangria contains alcohol so yes, if you drink enough you can get drunk off sangria. Like all alcoholic drinks, always drink in moderation.
Can I Use Red Wine In Replace of White Wine
You will find sangria is made with white wine or red wine. I prefer white, but you are more than welcome to swap with red wine if you prefer.
How Long Can You Store Fruit Sangria
You will find that the first thing to spoil in the wine sangria is the fruit. So when your fruit begins to look like it has seen better days I toss it out.
But when we make up a batch it actually gets drunk rather fast.
Can I Use Frozen Fruit
You are more than welcome to use frozen fruit in replace of fresh. The thing with using frozen fruit in your Sangria is it can act like ice to keep your mixture nice and cold for a bit.

Then as the fruit thaws you don’t have to worry about it watering down your sangria.
Do You Eat The Fruit In Sangria
Not sure you should eat the fruit in your glass of Sangria? Go ahead and eat the fruit if you want! It is completely safe to eat the fruit that is in your glass.
The alcohol will actually preserve the fruit a bit. As the fruit soaks in the wine and Schnapps it will take on some of the flavors, which will make it extra flavorful.
