This Caramel Apple Cider Sangria drink gets me in the Holiday spirit. I say this because of the Apples and the Cider both. It’s that time of year where all the apples and cider are out in the stores more than ever. I wanted a drink that would be both relaxing and enjoyable.
Caramel Apple Cider Sangria
If you are on the hunt for a new recipe to serve up at a holiday gathering, way to unwind after a hard day, give this apple cider sangria recipe a try.
Do You Drink Apple Cider Sangria Cold or Hot
This drink is one of my favorite fall cold drinks. I love sipping on this cold, the caramel sauce adds so much sweetness and indulgence to the mixed drink.
Doesn’t this Caramel Apple Cider Sangria look refreshing? I think it does. The Caramels, of course, are for looks, but the recipe sure does call for Caramel Syrup; so no worries.
What Type of Wine to Use For Sangria
For this particular sangria recipe, you will want to reach for a white wine. It will pair nicely to the caramel vodka and the cider. It will give you a really smooth transition in flavors that blend well.
Can I Make Caramel Apple Sangria Ahead of Time
This sangria recipe needs to be made at least 30 minutes in advance to help the flavors blend together. So feel free to make it up to 4 hours in advance to serving your friends and family.
How to Store Caramel Apple Cider Sangria
Grab a pitcher and pour your mixture into it. Stir and then let sit in the fridge. I just make sure the container has a lid, or use plastic wrap or even aluminum foil to cover if need be. You just don’t want other odors in the fridge to seep into the mixture and alter your flavor.
What If I Can’t Find Caramel Vodka
It is okay if you can’t find caramel vodka. I know not everywhere will carry the caramel flavor. You could easily reach for a plain since you use the caramel sauce it will give you the caramel flavor you want.
What Type Of Apples Do You use For Caramel Apple Sangria
I used gala apples. But you are welcome to reach for any apple you would like. Granny Smith will offer a tart aspect, Honeycrisp are super sweet. So feel free to add in an apple that will compliment your drink. Feel free to use any apple variety, just remember they each offer unique flavors.
How Long Will Sangria Last
You can store leftover sangria in your fridge for 2-3 days. You will find the apples will make this spoil a lot faster. Use your best judgment on if you feel the recipe is still good or not. If in doubt toss it out.
If you love this recipe, you will surely love my Apple Pie Iced Tea. It is delicious and refreshing.
