Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Chicken comes in all shapes and sizes. 45 minutes works for most chicken, but if you use tenders or have really plump pieces you will need to alter the cooking time. Be sure to check the internal temperature to make sure your chicken is properly cooked.
- If you are serving this dish to a crowd you can easily double the recipe. Just be sure to use two pans to cook the chicken in.
- If you want to add some spice to this dish, add a dash of red pepper flakes into your mixture prior to smearing on your chicken.
- If you feel like the mayonnaise flavor is too overpowering, you can swap it out for sour cream.
Storage
Fridge
If you have leftover chicken you will want to store it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes! This dish can absolutely be made ahead of time! Sometimes I will prep it in the morning and then cover and place it in the fridge. Then if I am not home when it is ready to go in the oven I can call home and have one of the kids or my husband pop it in the oven.
