Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • This recipe calls for chicken thighs, but you can easily substitute it for a boneless skinless chicken if you would like.
  • If your family does not like mushrooms you can easily omit them.
  • Feel free to use more vegetables than the recipe calls for.
  • If your sauce is not thickening remove the chicken and cook your sauce uncovered on high for about an hour. You can also add a mixture of 1 TBS of cornstarch and 1 TBS of water to thicken it as well.
  • If you want the chicken flavors to shine through brown your chicken in a pan first and then add it.
  • If you prefer crispier vegetables, do not add them in until about 2 hours before your dish is done.
