Garlic bread
Garlic bread is an essential side to pair with dinners in our home. Nothing beats a homemade garlic bread with a homemade garlic spread.
Pair garlic bread with Olive Garden Chicken Pasta, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, or my popular lazy lasagna.
Garlic Bread
Once you start making homemade garlic bread you will never look back. I have bought pre-made garlic bread and it never compares to homemade.
How to Make
Step 1: You will start by making your garlic butter from scratch or buy your favorite mix in the store.
Step 2: Slice your bread in half or slice into pieces of bread. Then slather on your garlic spread.
You can slice your break in half and then butter both long pieces of bread and bake that way. Or preslice into single serve bread and spread slices on a cooking sheet.
Either method works it is a personal preference on how you cut bread.
Step 3: Bake in your preheated oven until your bread is cooked and offers a nice golden color.

What Is The Best Bread To Use For Homemade Garlic Bread
French Bread is my go to for garlic bread. But you will find any tougher textured bread can work if you can’t get your hands on French Style Bread.
Do I Need To Wrap Garlic Bread In Foil
Wrapping garlic bread in foil is all about preference on texture. For a crunchier garlic bread do not wrap bread in foil.
If you want a softer bread go ahead and wrap your bread in foil. It will keep the bread from becoming as crunchy. It can take a bit longer to fully heat up when you cook break wrapped in aluminum foil.
Can I Make With Homemade Bread
You are more than welcome to make a homemade French or artisan style bread to transform into garlic bread.
Just fully cook your homemade bread and allow to cool. Then slice and top and bake the bread the same way.
Can I Add Cheese to Garlic Bread
I love mozzarella topped garlic bread. Go right ahead and add on a sprinkle of shredded cheese or freshly sliced mozzarella.
You will bake until the cheese is fully melted.
Does Garlic Bread Store Well
Garlic bread is best when served fresh and warm from the oven. You will find leftover bread becomes soggy in texture.
You can make as much of as little as you want. Just Store remaining bread separate from the butter mixture.
Then just heat up a piece or two of the bread when you want it. The garlic butter spread stored for around a week in the fridge.
