Impossible Cheeseburger Pie
Can you freeze Cheeseburger pie?

Yes! This recipe freezes incredibly well. Cook as directed and let it completely cool. Once cooled wrap in foil and place in the freezer. It is best if you cook your cheeseburger pie in a freezer-safe container so you don’t have to transfer it to one. This will keep for up to 3 months.

When you are ready to enjoy it, you may cook it frozen. Just keep covered with aluminum foil.

You may also thaw it in the fridge overnight and heat it back up in the microwave or oven if you prefer.

Why do I put the sliced cheese in between 2 layers of meat?

You will want to put the cheese in between the two layers of meat because when you put the sliced cheese on top of the meat mixture it floats when adding the Bisquick and can burn. Putting in between the layers, it melts, making it more like a cheeseburger.
