Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Be sure to use a lean ground beef and drain off the fat to make these as lean as possible.
  • This is a very simple filling, you can add in extras if you choose like onions, cooked bacon pieces, and even some seasoning salt for even more flavor.
  • To make this an easy meal you will want to roll all your egg rolls at once. Set up an assembly line and get rolling.
  • Don’t forget to seal up your egg rolls with a little bit of water.
  • You can easily double the recipe if you choose.

Storage

You will want to store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. They will lose their crispiness over time, but will still have good flavor.

Freezer

The great thing about these egg rolls is that you can make a ton of them and freeze them to enjoy later. Just wrap as directed then place the egg rolls on a piece of parchment paper on a tray and place them in the freezer. Once frozen add them to a freezer-safe bag.

When you are ready to enjoy, thaw in the fridge overnight and cook in the Air Fryer. Do not cook these frozen.
