How to make crockpot tortellini soup
- Add your frozen tortellini, frozen spinach (if you would like to use fresh spinach, you will add it at the end, you will see in the pictures when to add it in), diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and cream cheese to your pot. If you are using sausage add it as well.
- Cook on HIGH for 2 ½ – 3 hours. You want to be careful you do not overcook your tortellini.
- Once cooked, add fresh spinach if using fresh, and allow to cook for about 10-15 minutes to soften a bit. Give a good sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese and serve.
- Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks
- Check the tortellini early – You don’t want it to get mushy, so start checking at the 2.5-hour mark.
- Fresh vs. frozen spinach – Frozen is easy and melts right in. Fresh works too—just stir it in at the end.
- Make it meatless – Totally optional, but the sausage adds a lot of flavor. Want vegetarian? Just skip it!
- Cut cream cheese into chunks – This helps it melt evenly and blend into the broth.
- Use full-fat cream cheese – It makes the soup richer and creamier. Worth it.
