Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • You can substitute chocolate graham crackers or chocolate wafers for the Oreos. Just be sure to crush whichever you choose really well.
  • Do not omit the cream of the Oreos. This helps create a delicious crust. The easiest way to crush these is in the food processor.
  • If you prefer, you can use homemade whipped cream instead of store bought whipped topping.
  • Be sure your cream cheese is at room temperature. This helps your dessert to be nice and fluffy.
  • Be sure to allow enough time for the layers to set prior to adding the next layer to the dessert.
  • Try adding chocolate sprinkles or mini chocolate chips to the top of your chocolate lasagna.
  • If you love nuts and caramel add a layer to your lasagna.
