What kind of bread should I use?
You can use any bread you have on hand from classic white to wheat. You can even use a french or a rye bread if you choose. You can’t go wrong when choosing your bread.
Do I have to use butter?
Butter is what helps the bread become crispy. So, you want to use something similar if you opt not to use it. You can try using olive oil or I have heard rumors that mayonnaise is really good too!
