Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts

Rather than spending hours in the kitchen over the stove, you can now cook most of your family’s favorite dishes right in the Air Fryer with limited supervision. How to make Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Prepare the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- Drizzle the Brussel sprouts with olive oil and toss until well coated.
- In a small bowl, stir together half of the cheese and seasonings. Sprinkle over the Brussel sprouts and toss to coat.
- Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 to 7 minutes. Flip the brussel sprouts and cook for an additional 6 to 7 minutes. Stir and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cook an additional 3 to 4 minutes if desired or serve.
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- For smaller Air Fryers you can halve the recipe.
- If your brussel sprouts are bigger you might want to halve them prior to cooking.
- Try to buy brussel sprouts that are all similar sizes or cut them to similar sizes so they cook evenly.
- Be sure you create a single layer in your Air Fryer, you don’t want to overcrowd them.
- Get creative! Another option prior to cooking is tossing them with oil and a little balsamic vinegar and sea salt!
Storage
You will want to store your leftover brussel sprouts in the fridge in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
To reheat you will want to Air Fry them at 350° for about 10 minutes. This will give them that crispy texture you love!
Do I soak Brussel sprouts before cooking?
It is recommended that you soak your brussel sprouts in cold salted water for about 20 minutes. Once soaked, you will then trim your brussel sprouts before cooking.
Can I add bacon?
Yes, chop up 3-4 pieces of raw bacon and then put the pieces in the Air Fryer with your Brussel sprouts. Can you say yum?!
