How to make Air Fryer BBQ Pulled Pork Taquitos
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Prepare the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, blend the pork, barbecue sauce, and cheese.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the pork off-center in each tortilla. Roll up the tortilla as tightly as possible without tearing the tortilla and place it on the air fryer basket with the seam side down.
- Cook in the air fryer for 6 to 8 minutes, depending on the wattage of your air fryer, flipping halfway.
- Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.

- The number one mistake when making taquitos is overfilling them. Doing these causes them to not stay shut during the cooking process.
- If you want to add some more depth and flavor, spray the tops of them with cooking spray prior to cooking and then add a touch of sea salt. Wow! You will love the flavor combination it creates.
- You can use any pulled pork you have on hand, if you don’t have any leftovers you can easily pick up a package of pulled pork at the grocery store.
- I always opt for flour tortillas when I make these, but you can use corn as well.
- Make a batch of pulled pork in your instant pot, it is so much easier and quicker.
Storage
You will want to store your leftover taquitos in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Freezer
You can easily store these in the freezer. You will want to let me completely cool and then flash freeze and then add to a freezer safe bag for up to 3 months.
You can also store these prior to cooking. Flash freeze them on a tray lined with parchment paper and let them completely freeze, then add them to a ziploc bag and store in the freezer.
