Cinnamon Chips (From Corn Tortillas)
With how much Mexican food we eat in our house we constantly have leftover tortillas. Long ago we discovered cinnamon sugar tortilla chips which are basically tortillas that are coated with a little bit of butter and cinnamon and sugar. Back in the day, we used to deep fry these, but over the past several years we have been making a “healthier” baked version and more recently recreating these in the Air Fryer!
You will love the flavor of these chips that you will want to use to dip in all your favorite dishes like our Viral Tik Tok Strawberry Cheesecake Dip or our Salted Caramel Pecan Cheesecake Dip.
Once you make these they will become a favorite in your house too!
How to Make Cinnamon Chips
- Cut each tortilla into 8 pieces like a pizza
- Baste each tortilla top with butter
- Liberally sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10–12 min
- Or Air Fry at 400 for 4 minutes
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- We use corn tortillas to make these chips, but you can also use flour tortillas. Flour tortillas tend to be a little puffier.
- Be sure to not overbake these. If you do they could burn and start losing out on some of the flavors that we love.
