How to Make Pioneer Woman Hamilton Beach Bread Machine Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake
- Add all of the cake ingredients in the order listed above.
- Choose the Quick Bread cycle (#7).
- Press START.
- Set a timer for 22 minutes.
- Add all of the streusel ingredients into a bowl.
- Once your timer goes off, open the lid. Take ⅓ Cup of the streusel and pour it down the middle of the batter/cake. Try not to let too much of the streusel topping touch the sides of your pan, it could burn. Using a spatula or a spoon, pull the batter from the sides of your cake and pull it on top of your streusel topping you just placed on top. Essentially you want to bury the streusel.
- Once you have buried the streusel, pour the rest of the streusel on top. Cover the whole top just by being cautious of the sides of your pot.
- Close the lid and let the cooking cycle complete.
Tips & Tricks
- Use Softened Butter: Ensure your butter is soft but not melted for the best cake texture.
- Streusel Tips: When layering the streusel, keep it away from the sides of the bread machine pan to prevent burning.
- Don’t Skip the Timer: Setting a timer for 22 minutes ensures your streusel layer is perfectly placed without disrupting the baking process.
- Keep the Lid Closed: Resist the urge to peek while the cake is baking—opening the lid can affect the rise and texture.
