Strawberry Cheesecake Donut
This strawberry cheesecake donut recipe AKA donut strawberry shortcake is one of a kind as it combines all your favorite flavors like glazed donuts, strawberries, and cheesecake into one delicious treat. You will love it for so many reasons. Not only is it so easy to make, it is a family favorite, and downright delicious. Once you try this you will be picking up some extra donuts from the donut shop for this delicious dessert.

Ingredients:
- ½ a dozen Glazed Donuts (sliced in half)
- (2) 8 oz. blocks of Cream Cheese
- ½ a cup of Sugar
- 1 cup of Heavy Cream
- 2 teaspoons of Vanilla
- 1 lb. of Strawberries (washed and diced)
- Valentine’s Day Sprinkles
- Piping Bag w/ 1M Tip
How to Make Strawberry Cheesecake Donuts
- Start by adding your cream cheese and sugar to a stand mixer.
- Mix on high until smooth.
- Add vanilla and heavy cream, and mix until smooth and stiff.
- Add mixture to piping bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Lay the bottom half of your donut on a plate. Pipe cheesecake on top.
- Top with diced strawberries and the top of your donut.
- Pipe additional cheesecake on top of your donuts. Add sprinkles.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Feel free to omit the sprinkles or replace them with another favorite variety.
- We love making this with strawberries, but you can also make it with other types of berries. Try making it with raspberries or blackberries. If you do, you may want to add sugar to the berries to help them juice before assembling.
- If you are serving a crowd, you can double or even triple the recipe. Just be sure that you plan 1 donut per person. If you are serving kids, you can easily serve a half donut with one layer of cream cheese filling with strawberries on top.
- If you prefer you can use cake donuts instead of glazed donuts.
Storage
These are best enjoyed right away after they are assembled. If you are planning to make these and save them for later, make the cheesecake filling and place it in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
You will want to buy your donuts the day of so they are at optimal freshness.
