Tips Tricks and FAQs
- You can use any variety of cereal that you would like.
- Add a pop of color and add a couple drops of food coloring to the frosting to make them even more fun.
- You will want to put your frosted donuts on a wire rack with parchment paper underneath it and then add the cereal right away. This allows the frosting to drip down and not make a mess while it sets.
- I recommend thinning out your frosting a bit to make it more like an icing rather than a frosting.
- You can either sprinkle your donuts with your favorite cereal or you can put cereal in a bowl and dip your donuts in it to get them loaded with cereal goodness.
Storage
You will want to store your leftover donuts in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature.
Do air fryer biscuit donuts taste like real donuts?
