This strawberry shortcake bars dip has all the flavors you love in strawberry shortcake bars but in a delicious dip! You will love this creamy, fluffy, sweet strawberry dip that you can enjoy with only 15 minutes of prep. All you need is Golden Oreos, cream cheese, strawberry cake mix, Cool Whip, strawberry jello, and butter to make this unforgettable treat.

With Valentine’s Day and strawberry season approaching I am dreaming of everything pink and strawberry when it comes to food! This fun strawberry shortcake bars dip is the perfect treat for every occasion. It makes for a great Valentine’s Day dessert, after-school snack, or just when you are craving that sweet strawberry flavor. This is an easy no-bake dessert that everyone will love, even the kids!

Strawberry Shortcake Bars Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Golden Oreos (process one sleeve) 
  • 1 8 oz. block of Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup of Strawberry Cake Mix 
  • 1 cup of Cool Whip 
  • 1 (3 oz.) box of Strawberry Jello 
  • ½ a stick of Butter (melted) 
  • Strawberry Glaze 

How to Make Strawberry Shortcake Bars Dip

  • Start by adding the cream cheese, strawberry cake mix, and cool whip to a large stand mixer. Mix on high until smooth. 
  • Place in a serving dish and set aside. 
  • In a large mixing bowl add one sleeve of processed Oreos, jello mix, and melted butter. 
  • Stir until well combined. 
  • Add a couple spoonfuls of strawberry glaze to the top of your cream cheese mixer. Spread out evenly. 
  • Top with your strawberry crumble. 
  • Place your remaining Oreos on a serving dish for dipping. 
  • Place your remaining strawberry crumble in a separate serving dish, so it can be added as needed. 
  • Serve and enjoy!

Tips Tricks and FAQS

  • If you prefer you can omit the strawberry crumble on the top. 
  • Swap out the crumble all together and replace it with graham cracker crumbs. 
  • If there is too much strawberry flavor, omit the jello from the crumble top. 
  • Feel free to dice up pieces of strawberries and add them to your dip as well. 
  • Dip all your favorite treats. Try strawberries, bananas, Golden Oreos, pretzels, Vanilla wafers, Animal crackers, and more.

Storage

You will want to store your strawberry shortcake bars dip in the fridge, covered. This will keep up to 4 days.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes, you can make this up to 24 hours ahead of time. In fact, it is best if you let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to come together. 

Make the crumble and keep in a plastic bag at room temperature and then store your dip in the fridge, covered. 

Prior to serving, remove from the fridge and add the strawberry crumble.
