Strawberry Agua Fresca
Strawberry Agua Fresca is one of my favorite summer drinks. It is also known as strawberry water. I remember having it for the frist time while visiiting Mexico and I was hooked. It has become my summer staple to enjoy throughout the whole summer at home. It is so easy to make and can be enjoyed by kids and adults. Once you try this, you will find yourself making it over and over again.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- ½ cup sugar
- lime slices (optional)
- mint sprigs (optional)
How to Make Strawberry Agua Fresca
- Add the water, sugar, and strawberries to a blender and blend until smooth (about 60 seconds).
- Pour into glasses, garnish with a lime slice and mint sprig, if desired, and enjoy!
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Feel free to use different varieties of berries instead of strawberries. When doing this you may want to adjust the amount of sugar you add to this drink.
- You can change the level of sweetness by adding more sugar or removing sugar. You will want to add or remove it about 1 Tablespoon at a time.
- You can enjoy it right away, but it is best if it is chilled in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- You can make this without a blender, you just need to make sure you stir vigorously to really allow time for the sugar to dissolve.
- Using a powerful blender really helps blend your Strawberry Agua Fresca to create a smoother drink you will love.
Storage
You will want to store your Strawberry Agua Fresca in the fridge in a pitcher. This will keep it nice and cold. Enjoy it within 3 days.
Can I Make Strawberry Agua ahead of time?
Yes, you can make this drink ahead of time, in fact, it is best if you do make it at least 1 hour before enjoying it. Follow the directions and then place it in the fridge to chill. Stir before serving.
