Tips Tricks and FAQs
1. You can change up the pudding flavors. Try using chocolate for another layer of flavor.
2. While this is called Snickers Apple Salad, you can try different candy bar flavors. Milky Ways are really delicious!
3. Regardless of what type of candy bar you use, you want to ensure you really dice your candy bars into small pieces.
4. For this recipe, I like to use Granny Smith and Gala. This makes a sweet-tart combination within the salad. You can use any type of apple that you prefer. If I want a really tart salad I will use only Granny Smith.
5. Top this salad with a drizzle of caramel for even more flavor!
Storage
Leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes, you can make this up to 24 hours in advance before serving it. If you are going to layer the apples you will want to soak them in a lemon juice/water solution for about 4 minutes prior to making your salad. 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice to 1 cup of water is the lemon juice water solution consistency.
