Can You Make Your Own Yogurt

Interested in making homemade yogurt? I have done this for a long time, and it always gets gobbled right up in our home. Learn how to make yogurt in the Ninja Foodi, or make in the Instant Pot without the yogurt setting button

It will save a lot of money and you can be in charge of the flavor of the yogurt you make, thickness, sweetness, etc.

Essentially you can add any or all of your favorite toppings to your smoothie bowl. Have fun with it and add all types of textures and flavors to really amplify your smoothie bowl.

Why Is My Smoothie Bowl Too Thick

If your smoothie bowl is too thick just add more milk to it. Simply add a little at a time and blend it up again.

You can then be in charge of how thin or thick your smoothie bowl can be. If it becomes too thin add a bit more yogurt or berries.

Can I Use Regular Milk Instead of Almond Milk

You can use any type of milk or milk substitute you prefer. I went with almond milk as that is what we had on hand. But feel free to reach for any dairy you prefer.

I have even used coconut milk and soy milk and it works great. It will just slightly alter the flavor a bit of your bowl.

Can I Store Leftover Smoothie Bowls

If you don’t eat all your smoothie bowl save it in a container. I recommend that you leave the toppings off until you are ready to eat. Then top and serve. You will find the fruit and such softens up if it sits on top of the yogurt.

You might need to stir your smoothie bowl mixture before pouring into a bowl if it sat in the fridge for too long.
