- Allow the syrup to cool and pour it into a glass jar or bottle.
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- For the best flavor, you will want to let the chocolate syrup cool down prior to using it.
- As your chocolate syrup cools, it will thicken as it sits in the fridge. This will make it perfect for adding to the top of your favorite ice cream topping.
- If you would like a sweeter syrup you can add additional sugar. Add it in a tablespoon at a time. If you would like a more bitter syrup, omit the sugar a tablespoon at a time.
- For a more creamy syrup, swap out the water for milk.
Storage
Your homemade chocolate syrup will store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks when stored in an airtight container.
