Tips Tricks and FAQS

  • Be sure you are consistent with your apple slices. Having apple slices of all different thicknesses will cause them to not be done at the same time.
  • To keep your apples from browning you will want to coat them with a little lemon juice before adding your spice mixture.
  • These apple chips will cook as they cool. So if they are a bit soft coming out of the air fryer, don’t panic, they will crisp up.
  • You will want to pat your apples completely dry before cooking them in the air fryer. This speeds up the cooking time substantially.
  • You can swap out the pumpkin pie spice for apple pie spice or ground cinnamon instead.
  • These air fryer apple chips taste great alone or dipped! Try dipping them in cream cheese spread, caramel, or peanut butter.
  • You do not need to core the apples to make these.
