What Cut Is Prime Rib

Prime rib can be purchased in two different grades. A choice grade and prime. The prime tends to have more fat so there is more marbling throughout, which adds to a higher price tag. Then the choice is less marble and lowers the price. Either are a great choice of meat.

How to Store Leftover Prime Rib

If you have some prime rib leftover place it in an airtight container and stick it in the fridge. When it is stored properly you will find your meat will stay good for up to three days.

Then reheat as you would like whether microwave or even the oven. If you do the oven just add some water or broth to the meat so it doesn’t dry out.

Can You Freeze Prime Rib

You can freeze the leftover prime rib for up to three months. You will find the texture and flavor will change a bit, but almost all meat changes once are frozen and thawed. Just store in an airtight container or sealable bag.
