Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Be sure to cook the fries first. Be sure they are extra crispy.
  • While technically you can use cheese sauce, I don’t recommend it. This tends to make the fries soggy. Shredded cheese is the best option.
  • Fry up your bacon ahead of time or opt for precooked bacon bits. These are always a huge lifesaver for dishes like these.
  • Use your favorite varieties of cheese. I use sharp white cheddar, but you can use any cheese that you want. Pepperjack, Mozzarella, Monetary Jack, Colby Jack, Swiss, etc.
These loaded fries are best enjoyed right away. I do not recommend storing them as they will be soggy if stored in the fridge.
