  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Assorted cookies, apple slices, or strawberries, for serving

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter at medium speed until light and fluffy, about 6 minutes, scraping down halfway.

  • With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the powdered sugar a little at a time until completely incorporated. 
  • Add the brown sugar and vanilla, beating well.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and serve.
