Tips For Making Pumpkin Pie Dip

One of the biggest tips is to use softened cream cheese. This will give your dip that velvety smooth texture you want. If you don’t allow it to fully soften it will offer a curdled look, similar to cottage cheese.

I recommend using a hand mixer or stand mixer to really whip up your dip. It will help to give it that silky smooth texture you want.

Do You Refrigerate Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake Dip Before Serving

You have options when it comes to serving up this dip. You can whip up this dip and serve it right away, or toss in the fridge for around 30 minutes. This will help it to firm up a little. It is totally up to you in terms of how you go and serve.

The one thing to remember is the cream cheese will get harder as it sits in the fridge. So you will want to sit this dip on the counter for about 15 minutes before serving to allow it to soften up a bit.

How Long Can Pumpkin Dip Sit Out On Counter

You only want your dip to sit on the counter for a max of two hours. The reason being is the dip will warm up and will reach the “danger” zone in terms of temperature. This is when bacteria can begin to grow at a more rapid pace. So if you plan to have your dip out for a long period of time, have a way to cool it like a bowl of ice it sits on, or place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before that two-hour mark hits.
