Valentine’s Day Dip

Dips are a family favorite around here! They are creamy, simple, and full of flavor. I love that with just a few minutes of prep we can create a delicious treat to enjoy together! This Valentine’s Day dip is one of my kid’s favorites.

They love the addition of the marshmallow cream mixed with the cream cheese and the swirls of red and pink throughout the dip! This is one of those irresistible dips that we make throughout the whole month of February.

How to Make Valentine’s Day Dip

  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar and beat until combined.

  • Fold a large spoonful of the thawed whipped topping into the dip mixture. Then fold the remaining whipped topping into the dip until completely combined.
  • Divide the dip into bowls and add food coloring as desired. Carefully mix until the colors are incorporated. Do not overstir as the dip will deflate.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • Be sure that you use room temperature cream cheese. This allows it to be mixed to a nice light fluffy consistency.
  • Overmixing the dip after you add the whipped topping will cause it to fall and not be as fluffy.
  • If you prefer you can omit the sprinkles.
  • I prefer adding mini chocolate chips if I am craving a little chocolate flavor.
  • You can enjoy this dip anytime of the year, just change the color of the dip and omit the sprinkles.
