How to make Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip

  • In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and caramel extract. Beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes, until smooth.
  • Fold in Cool Whip.
  • Add mixture to a serving bowl. Top with caramel sauce and apple pie filling. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.

  • You want to make sure that the cream cheese is softened to room temperature. This will make it easier to mix with the sweetened condensed milk as well as help prevent lumps in the dip. 
  • A 24 ounce dish is the perfect size to hold your caramel apple cheesecake dip.
  • You can easily use other pie filling flavors when creating this dip.
  • Use a homemade caramel sauce if you choose. 
  • If you prefer, you can omit the caramel from the recipe. 
  • You can use your homemade apple pie filling
  • To lighten up the recipe a bit you can use a low fat cream cheese. 
  • If you can’t find caramel extract, you can use a high quality vanilla extract.

You will want to store your dip in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days. 

Can you freeze Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip?

I do not recommend freezing this dip because of the cream cheese. 

Can you make this dip ahead of time?

Yes! You can easily make this dip ahead of time! In fact, I recommend it. Make this up to 24 hours ahead of time to allow the flavors to really meld together well.

How long can I let caramel apple cheesecake dip sit out?

Be sure to set out your caramel apple cheesecake dip right before you are ready to serve to ensure it does not spoil. 

Your dip should not sit out for more than 2 hours. If it does you should dispose of it because of food safety reasons.
