Banana Popsicles
Banana Popsicles are easy to make as they combine 4 basic ingredients. You will love making these all summer long and customizing them with all your favorite flavors!
Banana Popsicles
In our house we love popsicles. Some of our favorites are frozen unicorn popsicles for the kids and White Sangria Popsicles for the adults and of course these Banana Popsicles for the whole family!
You can pretty much find us all summer long making popsicles and enjoying them throughout the day!
We love making these homemade banana popsicles because they are so easy to make, easily customizable, only use natural colors (no crazy bright yellow popsicles) and they are full of so much delicious flavor, and are so inexpensive to make!
All you need a popsicle mold or two and patience to let your popsicles sit until they are ready to enjoy!
How to make Banana Popsicles
- In a large bowl, add bananas, heavy cream, milk & sugar. Mix with a hand mixer or you can use a blender.
- Pour mixture into popsicle molds.
- Freeze for about 5-6 hours before serving.
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- If you want a creamier popsicle you can use powdered sugar instead of granulated sugar.
- Your mold size will determine how many popsicles you are able to make.
- You can easily double and triple this recipe as long as you have enough molds.
- Use ripe bananas. The riper the banana the sweeter the popsicle will be.
- Get creative! Add in pieces of fruit, add peanut butter, or even dip in chocolate!
- If you want to make these even sweeter add a little bit of honey before blending.
Storage
You will want to keep these banana popsicles stored in the freezer until you are ready to serve. You can remove them from the mold once frozen, but just be sure to store them in a freezer-safe bag.
How do I remove the popsicles from the mold?
You might find it difficult to remove the popsicles from the mold. If this is the case, run the bottom of the mold under warm water for about 10-15 seconds, and then the popsicle will slide right out.
