  • Add all of the streusel ingredients into a bowl, mix to combine
  • Once your timer goes off, open the lid.
  • Add in the blueberries. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, press the blueberries beneath the batter. Pull the batter from the sides of your cake and pull it on top of your blueberries, trying to keep them mostly covered by batter.
  • Cover the whole top with the streusel topping,  just by being cautious of the sides of your pot. The streusel can burn so you don’t want to have too much of it against the sides of your pot.
  • Close the lid and let the cooking cycle complete.

Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • You want to be sure to use fresh blueberries. Using frozen blueberries will cause the bread to become soggy as they defrost when the bread is baking.
  • Smaller blueberries tend to work best so that they are spread more evenly throughout the bread.
  • Enjoy your bread at room temperature or warmed back up in the microwave.
