Snowmen Donuts
Snowmen Donuts are a quick and easy way to decorate your powdered donuts in a fun snowmen theme. A fun and easy kid-friendly breakfast or dessert to make up for your kids.
These are just the cutest snowmen donuts EVER! My boys LOVE mini powdered donuts and its a real treat when I let them eat them. Imagine their surprise when they came home to find these adorable snowmen.
Snowmen Donuts
These are a great breakfast, after-school snack, or even a winter party to take for your child’s school. Just make sure they don’t have a gluten intolerance, or you will need to buy gluten-free donuts.
I was able to create these cuties with:
- leftover mini candy corns from Halloween
- Black dots courtesy of candy writer
- mini donuts
I promised my boys we can make some more for our big Christmas dinner party. This is easy enough that they can do it on their own.
What If I Can’t Find Candy Corn For Snowmen Noses
If you can’t find candy corn, reach for starburst. The orange starburst is another great item to use for the nose. Just cut it into a carrot triangle shape and then stick it in the center of the donut. It works awesome and is so delicious. We just LOVE candy corn so it is what my boys look forward to.
What To Use For The Eyes and Smile on The Donuts
I used my candy writer for making the dots on my donuts. If you don’t have that you can also use mini chocolate chips and place them upside down so the tip of the chocolate chip pokes down into the donut. So the flat surface is what showcases on the donut.
Can I Use Different Flavored Donuts to Make Snowmen Donuts
You can but you will find the white powdered donuts offer the closest look to a snowman. But feel free to use whatever donuts you and your family enjoy or do a variety if you want to have options.
Can I Make Snowmen Donuts Ahead of Time
Yes, you can make these ahead of time and then store it in an airtight container. These are best to be served within 24 hours of decorating. You know with all donuts they are best when they are the freshest. So prepare and store in the container until you are ready to serve to prevent donuts from drying out.
A fun and creative winter no-bake treat for kids and your family to try. I know your kids will love this easy DIY dessert.
